Prototype flew first time in February 1945. It was widely used for gliding instruction in 1940s and 1950s before the 2-seat gliders took their place in primary training.<br \/>\nClub owned Harakka I H-12 was purchased in kit form on 1945. The first flight took place in 23rd February 1947.
